Elizabeth Kolos

Elizabeth Kolos has an engineering degree from the University of New South Wales and a PhD in Biomaterials from the University of Sydney. After she gained her doctorate, Elizabeth worked with a leading biotechnology company developing the company’s patents, maximising their value and guiding the release of products to market. She is an experienced Research Engineer in the commercialisation of technology and now is heavily involved in all aspects of patent searching while also coordinating all company activity as the business and project manager.

Gregory McKenzie

Greg has a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of New South Wales as well as being a registered patent and trademark attorney. At Filament, Greg is responsible for patent searching and works closely with clients to develop effective strategies for them. He has extensive experience in databases from various industrial and commercial applications including process modelling and techno-economic modelling for a large global mining company. As a registered attorney, Greg adds particular value for he recognises the legal implications as well as understanding software development requirements for the technology being developed.
